License Agreement
Last updated June 2026
Every purchase comes with a license that sets out exactly what you can do with the files. This page summarises our license tiers so you know what you’re getting before you buy. The binding terms are in the license agreement (PDF) issued with your order — if anything here differs from that document, the document controls.
How licensing works
We (and our producers) keep ownership of every beat, sound pack, and preset. A purchase does not transfer ownership — it grants you a license to use the files within the limits of the tier you bought. The full, personalised agreement (with your name, the product, date, and license number) is attached to your order email as a PDF and is the authoritative version.
Beat licenses — Basic
A non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license. You receive the tagged-preview-stripped MP3 (320 kbps).
- Use the beat to create one musical work, for commercial or non-commercial release;
- Distribute on streaming platforms (Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, etc.);
- Up to 10,000 total streams across all platforms;
- One (1) official music video; use in live performances.
Beat licenses — Premium
A non-exclusive, non-transferable license with higher limits. You receive the MP3 (320 kbps) + WAV.
- All Basic rights, with a higher streaming cap of 50,000 total streams;
- Commercial release, one (1) official music video, and live performance use.
Beat licenses — Unlimited
A non-exclusive, non-transferable license with no usage cap. You receive the MP3 (320 kbps) + WAV + Stems / Trackouts.
- Create an unlimited number of works; no streaming or view limit;
- Unlimited music videos; commercial use; live performances.
Exclusive
Exclusive rights to a beat are handled as a direct enquiry, not self-serve checkout. On an exclusive sale the beat is removed from the store and governed by a separate agreement provided for that sale. Contact us through the beat’s page to enquire.
Sound pack license
A single-user, non-transferable license to use the sounds in the pack within your own music productions — commercial or non-commercial — and to release and earn from the resulting music. You may not resell, share, or redistribute the pack, or include its sounds in another sample/preset pack.
Preset license
A single-user, non-transferable license to use the presets in your own productions. The presets require the third-party plugin they are made for, which is not included; you must own a valid copy of it. You may not resell, share, or redistribute the presets, modified or not.
What you may never do
Across all licenses, you may not:
- resell, rent, give away, or transfer the files;
- share or distribute the raw/stem files;
- use the files in another sample pack, drum kit, loop pack, or preset pack;
- claim exclusive ownership of a non-exclusive beat;
- register a non-exclusive work to a Content ID / rights-management system (YouTube Content ID, etc.);
- send copyright claims or takedowns against other valid licensees of the same beat.
In any dispute, the license certificate and purchase record we issue are valid proof of the right of use. Breaching the license ends the rights it grants.
Credit
Where possible, please credit the producer (e.g. “Produced by …”) as stated in your license.
